Dubbed as the "poor man's Porsche," the 914 has proven through the years to be a very well-balanced sports car. It has track handling characteristics equal to newer and more sophisticated track vehicles.
Created from a collaboration between Volkswagen and Porsche, the 914, as raced in the H2R Challenge series, offers simple and almost unlimited tuning options for the engine and suspension. Near perfect four corner balance, mid-engine, low center of gravity, reliability upgrades, and low-cost parts make the Porsche 914 an excellent option for H2R Challenge series participation.
The H2R 914 class races alongside our Miatas in two races on each race day: the first one begins at 10:00 am and the second at 1:00 pm. Each race is 45 min, one clockwise and one counter-clockwise.
